El meta semanal: ¿El meta mas variado de toda la edición?

Semana de grandes torneos y mucho torneo por equipos…

Fin de semana de mucho torneo por equipos y un par de interesantes torneos individuales. Sorprendentemente, desde hace mucho tiempo no teníamos un meta tan variado, pero tan, tan variado como que Ogros ha ganado un torneo, el ejército que estaba con menor win rate hace unos meses vuelve a la palestra con varios buenos resultados. Los ya conocidos Skaven, Idoneth, Sylvaneth, Blades of Khorne con devoradores son otros de los ejércitos más dominantes del fin de semana y del meta en general. ¿Estamos ante la mejor versión del juego? ¿Lumineth, Tzeetch y Ossiarcas vendrán para romper el meta?

Esta semana toca analizar la lista ganadora del CALL to GLORY 2026, lista que ha conseguido ganar el GT australiano de esta semana. No estamos de broma, Ogros ha ganado un torneo y nos vemos obligados a hacer el resumen de esta lista, vayamos a ver qué hacen estos gorditos sabrosones.

Como es la primera vez que analizamos una lista de estos grandes desconocidos, vamos a empezar como siempre por los rasgos de batalla:

Trampling Charge: Cada vez que una unidad Ogor o Rhinox carga, ese mismo turno puede elegir una unidad enemiga visible a 1″, al 2+, inflige un D3 mortales, en caso de ser monstruo, se le añade +2 a la tirada, es decir que si lo hace una unidad con la clave monstruo, al menos te inflige 3 mortales directas.

Ravenous Brutes: Añade +2 a las tiradas para correr de unidades Ogor mientras no se haya usado la habilidad Feast on Flesh.

Feast on Flesh: Una vez por partida, todas las unidades Ogor que estén en combate o hayan usado una habilidad de combate, tiran 1D3 y se curan ese mismo número de heridas, en caso de estar en combate con alguna unidad enemiga, inflige ese mismo número como heridas mortales, esa unidad enemiga no puede ser elegida más de una vez.

Battle traits sencillos y muy ogros, a cargar y a matar y de paso te muerdo una oreja y me curo, más ogro imposible.

La formación de batalla es Mawpath Menaces, en la fase de carga enemiga, puedes escoger una unidad Ogor Infantry que no esté en combate, al 3+ en un D6 puede mover el mismo número de pulgadas igual a la tirada, puede mover a través de rangos de combate y puede terminar en combate, si termina en combate, se considera que ha cargado.

Como tácticas lleva Master The Paths y Restless Energy, dos tácticas muy usadas en listas de este tipo de arrasar y matar.

En cuanto a los hechizos Lore of Maw-magic, son los siguientes:

– Troggoth Guts (5) Unlimited: Escoge una unidad aliada Ogor Mawtribe visible a 12″, esta unidad se cura D3 y añade 3 al control hasta el resto del turno.
– Blood Feast (6): Escoge una unidad aliada Ogor Mawtribe Infantry visible a 12″ completamente, añade +1 ataque hasta tu siguiente turno.
– Greasy Deluge (7): Escoge una unidad enemiga visible a 18″, aplica -1 a impactar a esa unidad hasta tu siguiente turno.

Por otro lado, el lore de plegarias Everwinter Players es el siguiente:

– Call of the Blizzard (4-8) Unlimited: Elige un terrain feature, ese terreno gana el token Blizzard y la habilidad Obscuring para el resto de la partida. En el caso de que salga potenciada, hasta tu siguiente turno, todas las unidades Beastclaw Raiders tienen ward de 5+ a 3″ de estos terrenos.
– Pulverising Hailstorm (5-8): Escoge un punto a 12″, inflige un D3 mortales al 2+ a todas las unidades visibles a 3″ de ese punto. En el caso de que salga potenciada, el número de mortales es el doble.
– Keening Gale (4-8): Escoge una unidad Ogor Mawtribes Monster o Mournfang Pack, hasta el resto del turno, esta unidad puede correr y cargar. En el caso de que salga potenciada, esta unidad puede repetir las tiradas para correr y cargar.

Por último, de este apartado tenemos el lore de manifestaciones Aetherwrought Machineries:

– Aethervoid Pendulum (6): Esta manifestación se mueve en ambas fases de movimiento, en caso de quedarse en rango de combate con unidades enemigas, esas unidades enemigas se consideran que están trabadas, todas las unidades que haya sobrevolado o se hayan quedado a 1/2″ reciben D6 mortales al 2+.
– Chronomantic Cogs (6): Al activar en fase de héroe con un mago a 3″, puedes escoger entre que todos los magos a 12″ completamente tengan -1 al impactar o que todas las unidades pueden repetir cargas a 12″ completamente.
– Quicksilver Swords (6): La gracia de esta manifestación ignora ward con sus ataques, con un perfil de 12 ataques al 4+ 3+ -1 daño 1 con crítico mortal.

En cuanto a la escenografía, el Mawpit permite, en cualquier fase de héroe, escoger a 3 unidades enemigas a 12″, en caso de tener a un Butcher o Slaughtermaster dentro, es a 18″. Cada objetivo recibe D3 mortales al 2+, en caso de estar a más de 3″ de otras unidades, se añade 1 al roll.

Pero vayamos a la la lista, se compone de dos regimientos comandada por 2 héroes, el primero un Butcher, héroe mago de nivel 1 sencillo, cuya única habilidad permite correr y cargar a todas las unidades Gutbusters a 12″ completamente, equipado con el artefacto Gruesome Trophies, el cual añade +1 al impactar a todas las unidades Ogor Mawtribes a 12″ completamente contra héroes o monstruos, por otro lado, lleva el sobrenombre Mage-Swallower, que quita 1 a las tiradas de ward a las unidades a 6″. El otro héroe es el Slaughtermaster, otro mago de nivel 1 con una habilidad, cada vez que una unidad enemiga es destruida por una unidad aliada a 18″ completamente de este héroe, le hace ganar 1 punto, hasta un máximo de 3, para gastar en la siguiente habilidad. En cualquier fase de héroe puedes gastar tantos puntos como tenga el héroe; por cada punto, escoge una unidad a 12″ completamente y aplícale uno de estos dos efectos, ward de 5+ o +1 ataque, ambos efectos hasta el resto del turno, ademas este heroe va equipado con el Touched by the Everwinter, con este rasgo de mando gana la clave Priest (1) pero no puede tirar hechizos y plegarias en el mismo turno.

Como unidades de tropa lleva dos unidades reforzadas de Ironguts. La peculiaridad de esta unidad élite, que puede llegar a pegar dos veces una vez por partida, es su alto potencial de daño con 3 ataques por modelo al 4+ 2+ -2 daño 3, un daño brutal que puede hacer teniendo en cuenta que pueden buffarse con el +1 ataque y pegar con +1 impactar contra monstruos y héroes gracias al artefacto que lleva equipado el Butcher. Por otro lado, tenemos una unidad reforzada de Ogor Gluttons, unidad saco de heridas y algo menos de pegada que los Ironguts, pero aun así hay que tener cuidado porque tienen cada uno 4 ataques al 4+ 2+ -1 daño 2; además, cuando se usa la habilidad Feast on Flesh, ganan 1 al control por cada modelo vivo.

Por último, como unidades de apoyo, tenemos una unidad de Gnoblars, pantalla barata con una habilidad que le permite, en cualquier fase de carga, escoger 1 unidad enemiga a 6″ que haya usado una habilidad de movimiento ese turno y le inflige un D3 mortales al 2+. Por ultimo esta el Scourge of Ghyran Ironblaster como apoyo de disparo con 2 ataques a 18″ al 4+ 2+ -2 daño 5, la gracia de este warscroll es su habilidad, en turno ogro a disparo gana 1 ataque y la habilidad Crit (2 Hits).

¿Y cómo se juega esta lista? Lista, que sin tener mucha idea del ejército, ya que odio la destrucción, no deja de ser una lista de ir a pegarse y aprovecharse del alto daño que tiene en combate. Así, gracias a la nueva subfacción de Ghyran, puede jugarse de forma reactiva, esperando el primer paso del rival, teniendo como primeras unidades la unidad de Gnoblars o Ogor Gluttons, cubriendo las dos unidades que van a hacer el daño, que son los Ironguts. Gracias al Butcher y el battle trait Ravenous Brutes, puede llegar a tener rangos de amenaza de 24″ corriendo y cargando, lo cual hace que una unidad que mueve 6″ te llegue hasta tu despliegue sin esperártelo.

¿Cómo se le gana a esto? Estos gorditos sabrosones solo tienen ansia de comida, esconde todo lo que tengas al alcance y deja que caigan por su propio afán de comer. Como de momento el plástico no requiere comida para moverlo, aquí te dejamos unos tips básicos para hacerles frente.

Aprovecha su escasa movilidad: Sus pocas unidades en lista, que además tienen que ir en rango de los héroes, y el no llevar ninguna de caballería o teleport les hará sufrir en mapas de muchos objetivos. Aprovecha esa flaqueza para abrir mapa y obligarle a separarse.

Intenta no comerte heridas innecesarias del Mawpit: Una escena muy grande y con un rango considerable, siempre que puedas, haz una medición contra el elemento de facción. Ese D3 mortales, todos los turnos, puede doler y terminar enguillido por sus dientes afilados.

No están tan lejos: Aunque veas que están muy lejos, no es tanto como parece; pudiendo correr y cargar por el Butcher, se pueden en tu cara en nada y menos.

Obscuring su gran aliado: Si os toca contra esto en un torneo de equipos, hay que tener en cuenta que toda la lista se puede beneficiar del obscurecido y evitar el disparo fácilmente; incluso las unidades de 8 Ironguts pueden llegar a entrar en 1 objetivo.

Colócate bien tras hacer las cargas: Una de las gracias de la lista es la habilidad de la formación de batalla, esta permite realizar una mini contracarga gratuita. Intenta ponérselo difícil y medir cada pulgada.

Cuidado con los puntos del Slaughtermaster: A la hora de plantear, tanto en tu turno como en el suyo, ten en cuenta la capacidad tanto ofensiva como defensiva que tiene la habilidad de este héroe. Cualquier unidad de Ironguts o Gluttons con +1 ataque puede hacer un gran destrozo y, a su vez, aguantar mucho con ese ward de 5+, al ser unidades con un gran número de heridas.
