Primeros torneos con Hijas de Khaine y Sylvaneth en BCP y, para sorpresa de absolutamente nadie… PUM. Las Hijas de Khaine se estrenan con un 61,4% de winrate en un fin de semana repleto de GTs, tanto individuales como por equipos.
El meta está raro… ¿vosotros también lo notáis? Esa sensación de que el battlescroll no ha cambiado nada, pero aun así sientes una inseguridad total con lo que hace tres semanas jugabas tan tranquilamente.
Los últimos tres libros siguen dominando con mano de hierro el meta, pero empiezan a aparecer nuevos protagonistas en la escena. Ejércitos como Kharadron Overlords o Hedonites of Slaanesh irrumpen con fuerza, haciendo muy buenos números en GTs individuales.
En formato por equipos, como siempre, todo se diluye más. Aun así, se puede ver claramente cómo la apuesta principal suele ser por facciones de control, buscando estabilidad y evitar sorpresas durante la ronda.
A día de hoy, parece que podemos despedir del trono a Flesh-eater Courts, aunque siguen siendo un ejército muy potente. Estoy convencido de que, a nivel nacional, los seguiremos viendo en muchos equipos y haciendo muy buen papel en torneos individuales.

Sorprende el porcentaje tan bajo de Sylvaneth, especialmente teniendo en cuenta que el nuevo libro les aporta mecánicas muy interesantes. Aun así, todo apunta a que es cuestión de tiempo: estamos convencidos de que van a subir como la espuma.

Esta semana vamos a analizar un ejército de renombre que no suele tener mucha presencia en el panorama competitivo. Tal y como nos permite esta edición, podemos spamear unidades hasta que, al mirarte al espejo, dejes de verte y solo reconozcas al simio que llevas dentro.
The First Phalanx of Ionrach es la típica lista que solo pueden llevar los jugadores de Idoneth que llevan jugando este ejército desde que salió en aquella lejana 2ª edición.
¿Quién, en su sano juicio, tendría 30 anguilas de ataque? Todos sabemos quién. Un saludo a nuestro amigo Pollo de Chiken Wars, que además estrenan nuevo logo para su equipo.
Al parecer, Pollo tiene un gemelo malvado en Texas que debe de tener la misma debilidad por nuestros elfos marinos.
Jon Anderson plantea una lista con 30 anguilas de ataque en el AoR de The First Phalanx of Ionrach: una lista con muchísima movilidad en formato MSU. Si os fijáis en sus tácticas (Master of the Paths y Scouting Force), todos sabemos lo que va a pasar en esa partida.
Tiene unidades administrativas con cuatro unidades de anguilas sin reforzar correteando por el mapa, picando objetivos, cazando héroes pequeñitos o cumpliendo con el árbol de tácticas.
Por otro lado, tenemos tres unidades reforzadas, que son las que se te van a tirar a la cara sin ningún tipo de disimulo.
Este AoR es bastante interesante porque sacrificamos las mareas a cambio de ganar 1D3 puntos de Asydrazor. Estos puntos los vamos a poder gastar en:
- Retirarnos y volver a cargar
- Obtener +1 a la carga
- Pegar primero durante ese turno
Si a esto le sumamos que Volturnos siempre va a pegar primero en este AoR, que podemos mejorar los companion de una unidad para que pierdan esa clave, y que una vez por batalla no gastaremos puntos de Asydrazor para usar una habilidad, nos encontramos con un ejército muy opresivo.
Es una lista que te va a encerrar con mucha facilidad y que, con toda probabilidad, te va a pegar primero siempre —o casi siempre— con dos unidades en su fase de combate.
En este nuevo meta con tanta infantería, donde todos los ejércitos tras el battlescroll están usando alguna unidad adicional y donde se premia la cantidad de activaciones, este tipo de listas encajan al dedillo, incluso por encima de los Ethersea Predators a los que estábamos acostumbrados.
¿Qué deberías tener en cuenta para jugar contra este tipo de lista?
Primero: asegúrate de que tu rival tenga representadas correctamente cada lanza y escudo reglamentarios de las Morrsarr Guard. En caso de ver una espadita, toca tu silbatito y que acuda el árbitro para confirmarte que, hace dos días, tu rival le escribió por WhatsApp y le permitió venir con anguilas de defensa “para que se divirtiera”.
Como no te queda otra que ver cómo disfruta moviendo 14″ y pudiendo tirarte hasta 30 dados al cargar para colmo de la diversión, ¿qué deberíamos hacer en estos casos?
Claves para jugar contra la lista
Gestiona sus unidades administrativas
Esta lista puntúa muy bien por la facilidad que tiene para controlar la mesa con sus unidades pequeñas. Como toda lista MSU, cuando pierde activaciones es cuando empieza a sufrir. Castiga esas unidades para limitar su control del tablero.
Elige bien qué unidad vas a sacrificar
Seamos sinceros: son unidades que mueven 14″ y, con bastante probabilidad, te van a activar tres unidades antes de que tú puedas activar ninguna. El chorro de ataques va a ser criminal. Elige bien qué unidad va a recibir la embestida, porque cuando quiera entrar, va a entrar hasta la cocina.
Volturnos
Volturnos es el alma mater de esta lista. Siempre va a atacar primero, además de los buffos que proporciona al resto de unidades. En cuanto el Alto Rey caiga, esta lista pierde muchísima pegada: tanto por no tener esa activación prioritaria como por perder el +1 al hit para las unidades Akhelian cercanas.
